In his latest social media meltdown, Kanye boldly declared, “I love Hitler” and went on to claim that “Hitler was sooooo fresh.” Yes, you read that right. As expected, the world did a collective facepalm, with celebrities, fans, and basically anyone with WiFi calling him out for yet another wild take.
Let’s not forget, back in December 2023, Ye actually tried to clean up his image with an apology tour for his past antisemitic remarks. But clearly, that PR effort has now gone straight into the trash, because his latest comments are doing the exact opposite of damage control.
And because no Kanye controversy is complete without dragging someone else into the mix, he decided to throw Elon Musk under the bus, too. According to Ye, Musk is guilty of “stealing Nazi swag,” whatever that means. As if things weren’t bizarre enough, he somehow also tied Trump’s inauguration into the conversation. At this point, it’s like he’s just picking random names out of a hat.
The backlash has been swift, with social media exploding in disbelief. While many are calling for Kanye to take a permanent social media detox, others are just wondering if he’s got a bet going on how quickly he can get banned from every platform.
One thing’s for sure: If Kanye was looking for attention, mission accomplished. Again.
